 cats love this July 25, 2007
My cats go crazy for this treat. They beg for it as soon as they see the bag. One of our cats does not typically like cat treats, but loves this one. The only reason I am not giving this product 5 stars is b/c I have no idea whether or not it is actually cleaning the cats teeth.
 Not what I expected July 4, 2007
These are not at all what I was expecting, they are called 'chews' but the texture is more like styrofoam wrapped in a clear papery coating and they are much larger than I expected, like a small cork. One of my cats won't even touch them, the other (who will pretty much eat anything) reluctantly accepts them. To be honest they don't look like something that would be appetizing or appealing to a cat, except maybe to bat around as a toy (which I think I did read in someone else's review). If you are thinking of trying these for the first time, I would suggest starting with the small bag - I'm wishing I did but after reading so many good reviews I thought I was safe ordering the larger bag.

Not only is this great for my cat's teeth but it makes a great toy! What she won't eat I can always find under the couch or somewhere.

I adopted an ancient cat a couple of years ago and he's been a great companion. He LOVES Cat Chews and two times a day (or maybe three!) all I have to say is "Want a treat, Bugsy?" and he heads for the drawer in the kitchen where they're kept. He cleans every single crumb from the floor, then meows for more!
