I have 4 cats and have been using this box for several years. I have tried other types of covered boxes and this is by far the best for reducing odor and sand tracking!! Plenty of room for the cats, even the tubby one! When I replace my box I will definitely choose this one again.

I love this litter box! My 2 cats love it too...which is a bonus! It DEFINITELY reduces tracking and contains odor!! Another feature I like is the rounded bottom/sides. I thought this would make scooping more of a challenge, but just the opposite is true. It's easier because there is no tight corners for "stuff" to get stuck and clumped up in. I have a rescued cat who HATED the covered litter box I was using. He wouldn't use it w/ the top on. So I was worried he would be the same way w/ this one....but he began using it as soon at it was out of the box and filled w/ litter.
If you're shopping around, you will not be disappointed w/ this litter box.

I like the looks and features of this litter box. We got it when we got our puppies to keep them from getting into it and it suited that purpose very well. The only problem is that my cat doesn't like it. He won't use it consistently with the cover on it. (Goodbye to 2 throw rugs) So, we put the cover on when the puppies are lose in the house and take it off at night or when we're away from home.
I can't find any fault with the product itself. I would give it 5 stars if my cat would use it with the cover on every time.

I have two tubby cats and have used several different hooded litter boxes. (I have to use a hooded box because one of the cats will hang his hind end over the edge if the box isn't covered.)
Every other hooded litter box was obviously too small (they had to crouch down to use it). I saw this box at the store and it did look like it had more room inside. I was a bit skeptical that the steps would do any good, but I was wrong.
The cats no longer have to 'hunker down' while doing their business. The steps catch most of the litter that would otherwise be tracked out of the box. Between this litter box and the Petmate Litter Locker Plus, the whole litter box aspect of cat ownership is nearly painless (and stink free)!
The only reason I didn't give this box five stars is because the lid doesn't easily click into place. I have to finagle it a bit. Not a big deal, but it did knock a star off my review.

I have 2 cats and this litter box is great. The cats like the privacy it offers. It is roomy and keeps most litter inside.It also keeps the dog out.He likes to eat the "Tootsie" rolls. Clean up is a snap with a dustbuster foe little litter that escapes when the cats come out.
