Great Invention March 20, 2008 As my Yorkies got into their senior years, incontinence problems started, so I trained them to pee pads if they couldn't hold between trips outside. Worked very well, but sometimes aim wasn't quite centered, and the wetness ran under the pad. This tray is a brilliant idea. It is much more substantial than it looks in the picture. The plastic is slightly flexible, not brittle thin, so it should last for many years. My first two "senior citizens" passed away, and I have an 8-year old left. She learned from them, occasionally can't make it through the night, and this was a gift for both uf us. After putting the pad into the tray, she stepped right into it (not afraid), sniffed, and understood. She hasn't had to use it yet, but it's there for her. It holds the edges down perfectly. I imagine it would hold newspapers, but I don't want ink on paws and tile, so I will continue to use pads. You may want to consider hospital supply pads of the same size. You can purchase in bulk, making it more cost effective than pet pads.
Excellent Invention October 25, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's an excellent invention, I have 2 puppies and I put them in a big cage together with this floor protection and they don't move their wee wee pads anymore and no spilling of their wee wee.
great product October 23, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
pretty much nothing like this on the market! it's a great product but this one was WAY too large for our needs. we ended up buying the middle-sized one which is perfect for our two small dogs. this large one would be good for multiple larger dogs. we would have kept it and made room for it, but because of its size we would have wasted wee-wee pad since it would take several days for it to get filled and by then it stinks too much!
Unless you LIKE urine on your floor... September 15, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have several small dogs I've trained using puppy pads. Usually their attempts to hit the pad have worked, but on occasion they have tinkled too close to the edges of the pad, resulting in spillage. As a result, I've had to wipe up numerous spills. This product arrived just in time. The dogs are now more restricted in their movement while doing their little bathroom dance. This is such a nice product as it also keeps the wet from running onto the floor! In addition, it the pad stays in place. Puppies at play no longer catch the pad and pull it over.
Great Product !! March 24, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Very well-made product. Holds the pee-wee pads (I use the "Pish Pads" washable pee-wee pads) securely in place. My puppy no longer drags them all over the room. I highly recommend this product.
