THIS PRODUCT WAS RECOMMENDED SEVERAL YEARS AGO BY MY VET...SHE SAID THAT FELIWAY HAS KEPT HER "INDOOR ONLY" CATS CALM AND "SPRAY FREE" FOR YEARS...THE COMPANY THAT I BOUGHT IT FROM SENT IT TO ME IN THREE DAYS, I GUESS THEY'RE CLOSE TO ME (SO. CALIF.)...ANYWAY...I HAVE A SMALL SIAMESE MIX THAT, AFTER A FEW YEARS, STARTED SPRAYING IN THE HOUSE (BOTH MY CATS ARE INDOOR ONLY)THE FELIWAY HAS KEPT THE YOUNG CAT CALM AND SPRAY FREE...I CAN ALWAYS TELL WHEN THE BOTTLE IS EMPTY, BECAUSE HE MAKES MOTIONS LIKE HE'S ABOUT TO LET FLY...AS SOON AS I SEE THIS BEHAVIOR I CHECK THE BOTTLE AND FIND I NEED TO REPLACE IT...THIS STUFF WORKS GREAT AND THE SUPPLIER IS FAST AND CHEAP!!!

After introducing a new kitten into our house, we started having a problem with urine marking. While we suspected our 3 year old male tabby, we were never quite sure. We put two of these diffusers in our house, and treated every urine stain that we could find with Urine Off. After keeping up with urine stain treatments for a couple of weeks, the problem went away. We're now a happy (and clean) two cat household.
Feliway Diffuser Works August 28, 2008
The diffuser seems to be working well. My one cat was being very naughty and marking everywhere. We have contained her to just by the litter box now. The areas where the diffusers are, she has stopped peeing there (sometimes there is an accident). I am hopeful this product will continue to work.

One of my cats seems to get stressed out easily. In the matter of a couple of weeks I changed their food flavor(the store ran out of the other kinda.. it was either the new flavor or starve :) ), we had a TON of visitors at our house (which is really unusual), and we moved a new chair into our living room. The consequences of these events was that he peed multiple times on the new chair, my shoes in my closet, and some jeans I left in the floor. After washing the cushion on the chair, treating it with Nature's Miracle enzyme cleaner and throwing away some shoes we plugged in the Feliway diffuser. He is MUCH happier now and so far *knock on wood* hasn't peed on anything that I know of. I will deffinetly use this continuously for two months and get refills anytime "changes" on on the horizon.

Eight months after introducing two new kittens into my house, one of my two older cats was still on the warpath -- hissing, spitting, growling, and attacking the now-not-so-newcomers at every opportunity. She was unhappy, and I was miserable. My vet recommended feline facial pheromones, and after reading all the positive reviews on this site, I decided to try them. Six weeks into the experiment, they seem to be working. The change didn't come overnight, as some reviews suggested it would, but the attacks have ceased completely, we hear only the occasional hiss, and it looks like the warring parties may eventually sign a peace treaty. The stuff is expensive, yes -- but what is your sanity (and the happiness of your kitties) worth to you? br /br /In all fairness, I should note that my older cat is also taking vet-prescribed Prozac, which she started a few days before the Feliway arrived, but I've noticed changes in the other three cats as well that I can only attribute to the Feliway. In particular, the reclusive kitten has become much more sociable and willing to be petted, and that's a welcome change.br /br /Go ahead and give this stuff a try. I'm on my second set of refills and will in all likelihood keep using it.
