4 out of 5 stars Great product just a dried out batch   December 12, 2008
I have used this for awhile now. This is the second time I have ordered from DVM. 1st time order was order was perfect. This time the chews look dried out, not moist at all. The package was sealed and the expiration date at least a year away. So not sure what happened there. I think this is a great supplement for dogs. I use it for my sheltie who is 9 years old and has some artritis. Seems to help him.

4 out of 5 stars Great supplement   December 8, 2008
The vet recommended this item as my 3-year old chihuahua has a slipping knee cap. Since he started taking this medicine (after about 3 days) -- it has not happened again.

1 out of 5 stars BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!!   December 3, 2008

I purchased Synovi G3 120 count soft chews from Entirely Pets and there were wood chips in many of the chews. I've previously purchased Synovi from vets and also from Medi-Vet through Amazon with great success. My 3 dogs absolutely love the chews and they do help them a great deal. When I received the Entirely Pets order, at first my dogs ate them, but then they started refusing to eat them. I found wood chips twice in chews my dogs wouldn't eat but thought they came off my floor. Then I smashed a chew straight out of the container and it had several chunks of wood in it! Do NOT buy from this vendor. They've refused to take my calls or respond to this complaint. I still have contaminated chews left. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!!!!!

4 out of 5 stars Excellent price... jury still out on the effectiveness   November 25, 2008
My vet recommended this product for my 10 year old Cocker Spaniel. My dog has been taking it for about 2 months now. He seems to like the taste, but I'm not sure if the supplements are actually doing much for my dog. He is back to normal (from his limping) but he was also on a number of other prescriptions from the vet so it's hard to say what is the cause for this recovery. The 4 stars I'm giving this are for Amazon's price for this item. In the past I've learned that things that my vet recommends are often much cheaper online than at his office, so when he recommended this product (at $50) I decided to check online first. I'm glad I did, because Amazon's price was almost half that. I later told my vet that he's on the product and told him that his price was much higher than Amazon, I then told him the price and he couldn't believe it. He claimed he pays more than that for them and then told his assistant. Not sure if they didn't believe me, but I didn't care. In the future I always decline my vets recommendations until I can price the products on Amazon (and it's affiliates) first. I also let me vet know I do this so he knows he's losing my business for his prices, hopefully that makes him more competitive.
