This is my second purchase of this product. First one lasted 5 years with 2 cats. This model has the runway and everything works great. Great price and fast shipping from Amazon.

I am very satisfied with this purchase from Amazon. This litter box is just the right product at the right price. The newer units have been re engineered and other's reviews steered me clear of them. Upon inspection at the local Petsmart I have to agree they look pretty cheesy. This unit works mighty fine heavy duty and if it lasts as long as the old one did I will certainly get my money's worth. My cats too! Thanks Amazon.

I bought one of these cat boxes about 5 years ago and loved it. So when that one wore out, I bought a fancier self-cleaning cat box - it didn't work, and I returned it. So I bought the original self-clening cat box thinking it would work just fine - well it did for about a week, and then just stopped working. So now I'm scooping a $70.00 cat box each day....Not a good thing.:-(

This is the 4th LitterMaid Self-Cleaning litter box I have had. I have found that they last anywhere from 1 year to 4 years with 2 cats. A few months ago I bought the newest model of the Mega Litter box and it stopped working within a month. Luckily, I was able to return it to the store I purchased it from and bought this older LM700 model from Amazon. I have 2 of them for my 2 cats and so far they are working well and seem to be more sturdy than the newer models. My suggestion is to buy the older models online and wait for LitterMaid to get their act together and make a better model.
