Best night light ever! July 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We were still pregnant when we ran across this in a store. We bought it thinking it would be nice for the baby's room, but used it in our room until the baby was born and while in the bedside cradle. This is simply the best night light I have ever seen. True, the amber light is barely seen and the green light is on the faint side. We use the blue only, but that is fine with us. I would like to point out 2 things that I love about it and which prompted the 5 star rating. 1. There is a 45 min shut off, which is plenty of time and still saves battery power. Most other projected night lights I have seen move and play music, but last no more than 5 mins without shutting off. This neither moves, nor plays music, but I love the 45 mins of starry bliss. 2. The batteries last seemingly forever. After 6 months of almost nightly use, we have just replaced the batteries for the first time. It was definitely worth the money, despite using only one of the three colors. I hope this was helpful and I hope you love your turtle as much as we do.
Twilight Turtle Night Light July 21, 2008 This product is wonderful for all ages. I bought it for one of my twins, who is scared of the dark. He just admires all the stars above his crib that light up his room until he falls fast asleep. The only thing that I wish it could do is stay on until I turn it off or if it could be sound activated to come back on if he is crying. It seems to soothe him, unlike a regular night light. My older children love it too. I actually just went on a trip with a friend and her kids, and I brought it along for my son and she was so impressed by it that she wants to order one for her son.
Fun product, but not all colors are "worthy". July 15, 2008 My husband and I bought this for our little girl's nursery. It's perfect; however, the amber lights are barely visible - even when the room is completely dark. Furthermore, the blue lights are not that great (although better than the amber ones). The best are the green stars. They are the most clear and most visible. Overall, we are very pleased with this product and would recommend it to others. Enjoy!
Innovative Toy July 14, 2008 This is a highly innovative toy that will certainly last your child for years.
While this particular toy I bought for myself as a turtle enthusiast, I purchased the Cloud b Twilight Lady Bug for my soon to be born niece. As an infant to toddler she will be able to use it as both a nightlight and a plaything. As she ages, she will be able to learn about star constellations and folklore regarding them.
The stars that are projected are bright and by far superior to the short lived glow of the conventional stars.
I highly reccomend this product to those who are looking for unique educational toys that can still be played with and used to further imagination.
Great Good Night Tool July 8, 2008 My 2 1/2 year old twins love this turtle! Everynight we say good night to the turtle, one gets to turn it on and one gets to pick the star color. Makes for a super sweet night time routine.
