How did we ever do without it? May 14, 2008 This tool is a godsend for the owner of a dog with long hair. Our Golden, Maizie, just sighs out loud when we brush her with it and we get tons of hair with each brushing. I am a compulsive knitter and want to have her hair carded and spun into yarn. This is a great way to collect the hair...if there are other "knit knuts" out there.
My daughter's vet charges $35.00 for a "furminator" treatment. Why not buy the tool and do it yourself. A terrific investment.
Love my FURminator May 14, 2008 I love this...I have a lab 2 goldens and a chihuahua and I have used it on all of them and it works great. It cuts down on the shedding. I let a friend borrow it for her St. Bernard and it worked great on him too.
Great Tool for your furry family members! May 14, 2008 Love this tool! I have a collie and a sheltie and it has reduced their shedding alot and their coats are beautiful. I adopted them both from a rescue and their coats were unhealthy due to diet and neglect, after just a couple of uses I was receiving compliments on their coats. The videos on the website are no exaggeration this get alot of the hair out.
Shocking May 13, 2008 It's shocking how much hair this thing removes from my Pembroke Welsh Corgi. My only complaint is that the process generates a lot of static and I have a difficult time containing all of the hair I remove as it clings to my hand/arm/etc. I guess I could be using it wrong but I still can't complain, even with the crazy price tag.
FURminator May 12, 2008 It is very good for grooming and deshedding. My black labrador enjoyed being groomed. It is very effective and easy to use.
