My beagle sheds a lot all year round. We tried a few deshedding brushes and tools but the furminator works the best. The large one works great and it's amazing to see how much fur comes out every time we use the furminator.

I was so tired of all this HAIR! It is a good thing I loved my pup so much or I would have given her away. I did not think she would shed when I got her as her mother does not shed. Boy was I wrong. I had to clean hair off of two dark scatter rugs every single day. Now it is once a week that I need to clean it off. The first time I used it on her I could not believe the amount of hair it too off and she was not uncomfortable at all with it. Now I just go over her lightly every 3 or 4 days.
I HIGHLY recommend this furminator!

I have a small 3lb. Yorkie. He loves to get furminated. Yorkie's do not shed. However, the furminator removed alot of hair. I love it!

Got this after reading many great reviews but had NO luck with this thing. It was a complete waste of money for me.

I must admit, I was quite skeptical about this brush, but after using it for a half hour one night and still coming up with more fur, I am a believer. It takes a while to get all the loose fur off the first time you use the brush, and your animal might not be willing to sit for the whole grooming session. Subsequent brushings are not as time intensive, but just as effective.
