 Good place to start. July 12, 2008
I bought this product because my dog won't stop barking when tied up outside. When I first put it on her, she would bark and immediately get sprayed in the face. While it definitely helped her stop barking (at first), she quickly learned that if she barked enough, the collar would quickly empty and then she could continue to bark her little heart out. It was a pain to keep running outside to refill the collar as it doesn't hold enough spray at one time. She also went through 1 can of spray in 2 days. Another drawback, the dog smells after wearing the collar. I think the collar would work for the less determined dog but for us it was a fail. It may work if you are willing to keep refilling the collar every 10 minutes for a few days. It is a good place to start for those who don't want to use the shock collar like ourselves.
 Imperfect product July 10, 2008
We have had this product for about 2 months. After the 1st 2 weeks, it stopped working & the folks at Premier were very helpful: They first suggetsed banging the product to clear bubbles, and this helped some. Then after another week or so it stopped working entirely, and the folks at Premier offered to replace it. Meanwhile, had complained to Amazon, who told me to contact Premier, but also sent me a replacement collar. So for the past mnth we have had TWO collars, and now neither is working, despite the banging we periodically do and replacing batteries and re-filling, although, based on past experience, one of them may start working again. Still the uncertainty is maddening, esp when one is using it to quite an otherwise disruptive, barking dog. My wife is too disheartened to call Premier again, since we are unsure what would be gained with a 3rd flaky collar. It's a great product when it works; getting it to work regularly has been an impossible task for us. Thanks
Didn't work from the get go July 8, 2008

This didn't work from the moment I took it out of the box. I followed the instructions, filled it with juice, blew into the sensor, and... nothing. Batteries dead? Defective? I'm disappointed. Also the dog tried hard to chew it off his neck.
Does Not work July 7, 2008
The first time I used the product, the spray triggered at the proper amount/time. Since that time I have not been able to get the product to trigger a spray. The dog barks and the spray will not come out. I've tried troubleshooting the product and still it does not work. Definitely NOT worth the money
 Gentle Spray is a better alternative July 7, 2008
The Gentle Spray Anti-bark collar works much better than a shock collar. Our dog has responded very well when the collar is on her, and I feel much more humane in using the citronella spray. The only thing I've noticed is that it hasn't changed her behavior when the collar is off. As long as she has it on, her barks are noticeably cut down, but when it is off, she is back to barking. I hope that with more time she'll learn that she shouldn't bark whether she has it on or off.
