Not really for children July 2, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased two of these gates for my twins with hopes of connecting them together forming a rectangle around their existing play mat. This product certainly could not perform that function. My 10m/os tipped it over immediately. Then we tried the gates as advertised, individually as hexagons, and they still were able to move them.
The worst part was trying to return them. They were placed in one order, but Amazon shipped them as two. When requesting a 'call tag' to retrieve them, they only picked up one box. The other remained on my front porch. Multiple emails and calls finally rid me of the other gate and I received my refund.
I ended up buying two Kidco Playdens PD10. They connected together in the 8' X 4' configuration I needed (I called Kidco first to make sure), there is two swinging entries, it is very sturdy, it is taller than the Superyard, and they can not climb it. This solution costs more, but was really my only option.
For children of the age where they are challenging their standing and climbing skills, I would keep moving when looking at this product.
Love it! July 1, 2008 This is a great product if you want to keep your infant contained. It is kind of an eye sore, but definately has alot of play space and is sturdy. I can now relax and know my son isn't getting into everything he shouldn't be while I clean, cook and do laundry!!
Good purchase June 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Recently purchased the play yard for my twins and it turned out to be a well-worth money purchase. It's much bigger than a regular pack & play - comfortably fit two babies in and an adult (well, a short one anyway). It also eliminates having to pick the babies up for their grandparents with difficulty of lifting heavy things (and babies are only getting heavier and heavier for them), which is a big plus compared to the regular pack & play; this way they can get in and out to take care of the babies without hurting themselves. And off course, babies have more room to move around and you don't have to worry about them tipping over since it's sit on the ground to begin with. Overall, it's a good product to keep the babies in while you are away doing chores and such.
good product June 19, 2008 We use this product to block our toddler from touching our entertainment center. It's done the job so far.
as advertised June 16, 2008 does what it is supposed to do. one complain is that it lacks a good gate, pulling one panel on and off requires a man's power.
