The Feliway products do seem to help the blended cat family settle down and get along better. They had 4 months to integrate on their own, and it appeared that the cats (2 original and young, 1 newcomer-13 yr old female) weren't integrating well. Since the Feliway, they are all playing much better. They still behave like cats, there is still fussing at each other, but they can also coexist much better. This purchase represents a second month's worth of product-this should be sufficient.

One of my 5 cats (only female) was under stress from a feline social change in our home, according to my vet. I had lost 2 cats to cancer and gained a new one. This change caused the stress and she began to scratch at things i.e. curtains, sheers, bedspreads, anything cloth. She also stopped using the litter box completely. The Feliway difusser and oil was highly recomended by my vet. It does take about 3-4 weeks for the effects of it to show up. After 4 weeks, she was calm, playful, back to her normal self AND using the litter box again. This is wonderful stuff. No smell to a human, only to a cat. It calmed all 5 of my cats. Love it!!

I figured that this would be a complete waste of money, but it does seem that my cats are a bit calmer. I think it is a little over priced, being that you need to buy a new refill every few weeks, but I guess thats what you have to do to stop inappropriate behaviors. My recommendation would be to give it a try, it does actually seem to help.

My cat recently started spraying after having him for 7 years, we've tried many things and this product seems to help deter him from spraying. Just wish it didn't cost so much.
