TIMER WENT BIZERK at 12 1/2 Months November 13, 2008 Same thing happened to my timer as the previous review. We even had the Time Plugged into a heavy duty surge protector.I called Ergo, and they said that I would have to buy a new one ($25. + shipping) since it had been a year. I asked them if they had common problems with the timer and they said no. They were obviously not being truthful.DON'T BUY THIS TIMER! IT DOES NOT LAST!

I own this product and it is currently in the garbage can right now. I have called Ergo and they admitted that this product is or can be faulty. I have the large feeder and watering station. I actaully am on the second feeder since the gears in the first one got striped due to the timer not shutting off. This time the timer started to flash numbers between am and pm and then go in a count down. I reset it several times and each time I plugged it back into the wall outlet (different ones as well) it went back to 88:88 and started going all disco again. I can not recommend this timer. There is apparently a defect but they haven't bothered bring their product quality up to speed. The large feeder also has issues which I won't go into here.
