Good Boots for Cold Outdoor Weather October 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased these for my 5 month old Westie pup, Lucy. It's getting cold here in Northern Idaho and I thought these would be perfect for protecting her paws from the snow and ice. They fit her pretty well; although all four are the same design and they don't fit as well on her back paws as good as they do on her front paws. She doesn't like to have them put on and at first tries to shake or chew them off. But after about 10 minutes she pretty much forgets about them and is comfortable with them on. They are easy to get on and fastened, very helpful feature when trying to get them on a struggling puppy. Once on they mostly stay on, but I have to make sure the Velcro straps are pulled pretty tight to keep them from sliding (or being pulled) off. They are nice and warm, insulated and waterproof, exactly what I was looking for. We've only had them for a few weeks so I can't really rate durability yet, but they look sturdy and well made.
