Product Description More than doubles the capacity of your Drinkwell Pet Fountain. The Additional Capacity Reservoir and Additional Capacity Reservoir Plus provide additional water capacity to the Drinkwell Pet Fountain. Additional Capacity Reservoir with the fountain, provides more than 100 ounces of fresh water. While the Additional Capacity Reservoir Plus with fountain, provides more then one gallon of fresh water. The base, which supports the reservoir container, has two tabs that hook over the rear wall of the bowl at the back of the fountain. After placing the fountain in the desired location, hook the two tabs of the base over the rear wall of the fountain. The base must be properly attached to avoid any spillage when the reservoir container is added. Fill the reservoir with water. Check the lid to make sure the black O ring is in place, then screw the lid onto the container. Hold the container over the base with the spout away from the fountain. Quickly turn the reservoir upside down and slip the lid's spout into the rear cutout area of the bowl. Some loss of water is normal and will be contained by the base.Cleaning Instructions Hand wash only. The reservoir is not dishwasher safe. Lift the reservoir container out of the back of the fountain and quickly turn upright. Unscrew the lid and remove the O ring. Hand wash the parts with a mild detergent and rinse well. When assembling, don't forget to replace the O ring.

Help for Pet Owners October 8, 2008 This was a replacement for our current Drinkwell Reservoir that I melted in the dishwasher by mistake. We have a number of cats and they love the Drinkwell system. By adding the reservoir, I spend a lot less time refilling! It's a really great way to keep fresh water available for your pets (as long as you remember to wash it by hand!)
This is a must for multiple pet households August 11, 2008 If you have more than one pet that uses the water fountain, you must get this. The sound the fountain makes when it is running low on water is annoying and probably not good for the pump. Fits nicely and is very easy to take off and refill. My pets love their fountains - I have more than one.
OK not great May 3, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the expansion reservoir for the Drinkwell fountain.
It hooks in and works fine. I had a hard time getting the screw-off lid off, and couldn't get the lid to go back on with the gasket in place unless I held it in the "dispensing" position.
That means that I had to fill the reservoir through the little 1/4-inch dispensing hole. Not ideal.
Oh well, we didn't keep the Drinkwell anyway - the cat we bought it for didn't like it, so we gave it to the animal shelter. It's kind of a shame, really; our new cat would probably love the Drinkwell. I don't think I was going to though; it looked like it was going to be a lot of work to clean.
Excellent March 25, 2008 Does exactly what it says it does. I can now go for 3 days without worrying that the 2 doggies have fresh water.
Must-Have and Time-Saving Accessory October 11, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The 70oz Reservoir for our DrinkWell really helps my wife and I save time on refilling and keeping fresh water readily available for our four-legged family members. Since we have two cats, which recently turned one-year old, they really like to drink LOTS of water from their DrinkWell filtered fountain. Interestingly, our Burmese likes to drink water mid-stream just after it flows from the outflow nozzle, but our Siamese likes to drink from the pool where the water waits to be filtered and cleaned. A must-have add-on to keep your precious small family members watered, healthy and happy!
