The turquoise stones are placed into natural formed knotholes in the Alder wood. Each piece of real turquoise stone varies in size, shape and depth. They are fit into the knothole depressions but each stone extends above the surface of the cabinet. The stones are not cut flush with the cabinet top/sides but are free form pieces of turquoise.
