my dog has been so constipated..so sick..one time when he threw part of one up it was just like wood splinters that is when i quit giving them to him.He has an obstruction from this garbage. With five enema's and two medicines i still haven't been able to get rid of the blockage. He probably will have to have surgery. His kidneys are not as good as they are supposed to be either.....they did blood work and it showed possible problems.

These treats are being hailed as "safe" because there are no added ingredients.
Some say their pets are getting sick because of "melamine", yet these treats don't seem to have any melamine in them.
I invite you to LOOK AT THE BACK OF THE BAG. You will see a cute little "flower" logo. If you get a magnifying glass and read what the "flower" logo says: "Irradiated for sanitation".
Irradiated means TOXIC. Period. These treats are being irradiated with spent plutonium rods.
Smaller dogs get sicker quicker than larger dogs, but medium to large dogs eventually get sick too. Many have died.
The company that manufactures this product [ADI Pet Products (adipet dot com/Products/products.shtml)] SWEARS these treats are safe for our pets.
I personally do NOT believe them.
The treats are made in China. They say on the label that they are irradiated. Blogs of bereft pet owners pine away over the loss of their beloved family members (pets).
WAKE UP FOLKS. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!
We purchased an "Excalibur" dehydrator and make our own. I'd rather be safe than have my baby be dead. How do you feel about that?
Health Hazard - most likely caused enlarged heart and liver April 25, 2008
I bought the Jerky Tenders treats and my dog initially had diarrhea but I thought that it may have been a virus. After numerous trips to the vet, I found out that my 1 year old dog now has an enlarged heart and liver. She was happy and healthy (examined by a vet) two months ago before I started to give her these Jerky Tenders made by Waggin' Train. I have seen a lot of blogs on-line and I am asking that everyone whose pets have fallen ill and who believe that it is due to these treats - please file a report with the FDA! Voice yourself online so that other dogs do not get sick/die and file a formal complaint with the FDA.

My dogs LOVE this product, however, after a couple of days, this product started to make them sick at their stomachs. After reading the reviews that have been published lately on dog food products that were making animals sick and some dying, I talked to my vet who told me to immediately stop giving my dogs these treats.
These treats are some that have been recalled and that are made in CHINA and are making animals sick and die.
I immediately threw them away and my dogs problems all cleared up. I almost lost all 4 of my dogs due to this product, and I have read where some people have actually lost their pets due to dog food and treats like this.
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM. It will make your dog sick and they could possibly die. Check with your vet first.
I now give my animals jerky duck and so far they are doing good.
It appears there is some chemical in the processing method of the chicken jerky that makes the animals sick, and I was not going to wait around to find out what it was and have my animals die on me.
My animals are fine now, but only because I STOPPED GIVING MY PETS THIS PRODUCT. Please do not buy this, buy some other product NOT MADE IN CHINA.

The price, with shipping, turns out to be about 15%-20% above Wall-Mart. They sell 32 Oz. for the same price. So, it just doesn't work out.
