Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Combination Reptile Hood has an internal ballast and independent rocker swiches for separate light control. The high temperature porcelain sockets can handle bulbs up to 75 watts with the fixture also accepting one 1" (T8) or 1 12" (T12) diameter fluorescent bulbs. Most light is directed back to the tank because of the white reflective paint used on the inside of the light fixture. This light fixture is an excellent way to keep multiple lights in a concise and aesthetically pleasing set up.Size:24" long x 7.5" wide x 3.75" high.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Worth the price   June 6, 2008
Although many reptile lighting fixtures are less costly, this hood that combines both strip and bulb fixtures is worth the expense. It can hold the strip UV light that bearded dragons require, along with a basking bulb, and if desired, a night bulb for heat. Each light bulb can be operated independently. The only drawback is that the unit is heavy and requires careful manipulation to not tip it over when I move the top screen to get my dragon out of it's tank. I highly recommend it. It is much more attractive than having a variety of light fixtures on top of a tank.
