Not worth the money! February 27, 2008 I used this and it does not work. It would not hold my kitten when she was tiny, and it certainly wouldn't hold a full-grown cat. Don't waste your money! It is possible to toilet-train a cat - we've done it! - but NOT with this one!
trained a couple of cats with these; ordering another December 4, 2007 I have used this to train 2 cats, one got it in a couple of days, the other it took a couple of months and then he used the potty for 15 years. I'm buying another to train a friends 2 cats at once while I'm pet-sitting. It is just a piece of plastic, but I can't see how I'd make one myself, and it has done the trick - the whiz ring and LOTs of patience and encouragement and praise for your kitty.
Alternative Answer November 17, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Due to other reviewers saying that the Kitty Whiz "is too flimsy once you start cutting out the holes", and that "you can't go back a step once you cut out the holes"...I did some research and found an alternative product that eliminates both those concerns: the Litter Kwitter. Do a google on it, and compare it to the Kitty Whiz. I havent purchased it myself yet, but plan to. Hopefully, Amazon will begin to carry it.
Skating on THIN Plastic March 22, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The whole idea is great, but very thin plastic and cheap. It stated for cats up to 10lbs and my cat is 9lbs and the first time she used it, it collapsed. If it was made with some type of stronger material, I think it would of worked fine.
What a piece of junk July 10, 2006 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I'd have put no star if I could have.
This thing is made from cheap plastic that's not sturdy enough to support a kitten, much less a full grown cat. The rings came loose upon sitting it down onto the toilet so there couldn't be any stages unless it were taped together. The setup won't fit onto a standard toilet without modification. Do not buy this unless you want to know what "design flaw" really means.
