Good Short-Haired Cat Brush January 21, 2008
I have owned one of these brushes for 5 years, and it is still soft and in new condition. My cat Anya, a Russian Blue, likes it, and it definitely helps get the loose hairs before they find my clothes and bed. I bought it for our lab/collie mix but it didn't seem to do as good a job on her. We now have a Silky Terrier, and he likes it, but since he doesn't shed, it's not as effective on him. I have also tried it on our chinchilla, and it does not work well on her. But, for short-haired cats, it's great!

My cats love being brushed with this brush, it is gentle and doesn't pull their fur but at the same time seems to remove tons of dead hair by static electricity, and the hair sticks right to the bush so you can knock it into the trash every few strokes.

This is THE BEST brush for removing cat hair! I have looked absolutely everywhere in stores that carry FourPaws products and seems all of them have stopped carrying this item. BAD move. I work in a no-kill shelter with over 200 cats. I spend the majority of my time cleaning cat trees to reduce the transfer of hair born diseases. I've tried them all, and THIS brush is the ONLY one I will ever use again. Being rubber, it'll last forever, so it's also a mighty good economical deal. Thanks Amazon for carrying this!!!!
