Another Great Treat for Dogs November 26, 2007
Once Again.....My dogs absolutely went crazy for this treat. My husband on the other hand could not stand the site of them in the house. Ha Ha! He was ok with it until I told him what they were. LOL We have 2 Chihuahua's and they did well with it. I recommend this to anyone!!!! It takes each one of them two to four days to finish it off, but keeps them busy with chewing it.

My arthritic dogs LOVE these cartilage chews, and I'm sure that it's excellent for their joints. The tubes are hard dried and smoked bovine tracheas, and have thin walls so even my geriatric dogs with teeth missing do well with them. They're hollow, so you could add things inside, like canned food then stuck in the freezer, for an even longer wholesome chew treat. One dog recently had orthopedic surgery, so I ordered a box of moo tubes to provide cartilage supplement rather than just relying on the trace amounts of cartilage available in other commercial supplements. This treat is gentle on the tummy too, compared to other chews.
