My dog LOVES this!!! April 19, 2008 The doorbell rang and Diggs (my yorkie) already was freaking out so I showed him the box . He was jumping up and down getting excited (as yorkies do) and I opened it and gave him the Hide A Bee. He immediately began shaking it and trying to get the Bee's out. He plays with this almost every day, sometimes he just carries the bee's around and sometimes he carries the hive around! He is only 7lbs but I found that the "Large" Hide A Bee suited him perfect! All I have to do is give a bee a squeeze (so it squeaks) and put it in the hive and he goes NUTS! We also own the Hide A Squirrel and I would recommend both products!
Siberian puppy loves it February 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
She loves this thing. The bees, the hive, everything. She especially loves to thrash the hive around and play tug-of-war with it. Worth the little bit of money!
Busy Bee Bzzzzzzzzz January 8, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love these adorable busy bees and so does Maggie. And let me tell you, she is one sassy dog who loves to go on rampages and destroy comforters. But once she sees her busy bees go into that hive she dutifully works to remove them and it temporarily releaves us from all her destruction and terror.
All in all, really a neat toy!

This has been a great toy to tap into Selby's "prey drive." He loves sticking his whole face in the hive and rooting around for treats. Unfortunately he's not as into pulling the bees out as other reviewers have mentioned. He usually tries to bypass them while going for whatever I've hidden inside - a ball, or a treat. One other disappointment caused me to rate only a 4. While the toy is overall very well constructed, one of the seams on the bees is already splitting, and will eventually need to be repaired to keep the stuffing from coming out. Selby isn't into destroying toys, so for a dog who does like to tear things apart, this may not be a good choice. He does like to chew on the "hair" on top of the bee's head, and so far hasn't been able to tear it out - impressive. The hive itself is very well constructed - I don't think it will ever wear out.

I have a hyperactive dog, and she loves this. Keeps her busy for hours! She will carry the bee around with her everywhere she goes.
