Customer Reviews: The Best on the Market!   May 22, 2008 I have had many hamsters over the years, and have used most all the hamster wheels out there available. All made noise! Even the ones that come with the tube type wire cages. Those were the worst since when our hamster was blazing a trail on hers, the whole wire mess shook! My kids couldn't sleep for it. Then.... after I was so tired of cleaning up daily pine shavings and hamster droppings from about 4 feet around the cage, I chose to buy an aquarium to keep everything tidy. Well, we seen this SILENT SPINNER and after giving it a turn on the store shelf, I was delighted at how LOUD the quiet was! This wheel is the Best! No holes for the tiny feet to get stuck in, and noooo sound!!! I was overjoyed when we set it up and the hamster has been so happy with it! We went back to get another aquarium and promptly purchased another wheel!! If you hear anything with this wheel it's so minimal it won't matter. They hamsters even enjoy the way it swings back and forth when they stop. One was cleaning itself while swinging and the more he tried to steady the more it swung! It was neat to watch. He must have enjoyed it cause he stayed there throughout the whole bath regime and then went for a run! Not So Silent But Good Enough   February 7, 2008 If you're looking for nighttime serenity, this is as close as you're going to get. While it is quieter than a wire wheel in the squeak factor, this wheel does make its own noise- sort of a "budda bucca budda bucca" and has a fair bit of rattle- you really have to tighten the bolts. However, this might be because the rat that uses it is a marathoner, running so fast and determined that I could survive quite well if I hooked up a generator to the whole contraption. Silent Spinner Large is fantastic!   October 7, 2007 This product is great! I had a wire wheel that Baby Girl could get hurt on and she wouldn't use it. I researched this ball and bought one for my hamster. She loves it! She can go 1,000 miles per hour!! We are both happy! You need this gift for your hamster!! Truely Silent!   July 23, 2007  4 out of 4 found this review helpful I have a hedgehog (who is 100% nocturnal) and she adores her wheel! This is absolutely a SILENT wheel. I had one previously that was somewhat quiet but this one has been improved (it is a little more sturdy) and is so silent I worry that she's not getting her exercise because I can't hear her at night! I have to check on her sometimes to be sure! Good Product   July 15, 2007 My hamster seemed to be more comfortable in a bigger wheel like this one. Definitely need to check for any chips or cracks after shipping so they don't cut their feet.
