When used monthly, FRONTLINE PLUS FOR CATS completely breaks the flea life cycle and controls tick and chewing lice infestations. Research demonstrates the FRONTLINE PLUS kills adult fleas, flea eggs, and flea larvae for up to six weeks. FRONTLINE PLUS kills ticks for at least one month. A once monthly application is recommended where tick control is needed. Although FRONTLINE PLUS can control fleas for up to six weeks, if there is a high risk of infestation or if the pet has fleas which may cause flea allergy dermatitis, a once monthly application may be needed.

Excellent tick fighter May 31, 2008
We've had a particularly bad tick season this spring. Frontline was recommended by various people. It works as described - neither cat has had a reaction (as I've read for some products). We've been a little lax in re-application, but again consistent use is warranted (especially this year). We had a few ticks brought in by both cat's - though these were quickly identified by a routine "tick check" and disposed of appropriately. No ticks had latched on thus far and there's definately no sign of fleas. Great product for us. I recommend it.

Please do NOT buy Hartz or other flea products from retail outlets like Wal-Mart or the grocery store. Go ahead and spend the extra money on Frontline. The cheaper flea products like Hartz can KILL or make your cats sick. It happened to my cat and once I took him to the vet I found out it happens ALL the time. BUY FRONTLINE!!!!!
