Very Heavy Duty Parrot Caqe July 10, 2008
This cage is very heavy duty. I like the fact that the bottom tray is placed low enough that my parrot will not be able to reach down and pick through the mess at the bottom. The parrot will be well over-head when playing on the top of the cage, which may not be good if you have a very dominant parrot. The worst thing about this cage is the included directions. It is essentially a picture with very simplistic instructions like "attach the sides to the front and back". It does not tell you which screws go where and there are several different sizes and kinds. I did manage to put it together myself in about an hour and a half, though. I liked the fact that you can switch the sides since I was placing it against a wall on the left which would have made getting into the food doors on that side impossible without moving the cage over. I bought this cage to allow a pet-sitter to be able to feed my bird without having to put their hands into the cage, and I needed a cage high enough off the floor to keep my cats from picking through the discarded bird food. This fits the bill perfectly. Other than the terrible directions and the high play area, I have no complaints. I think this cage is well worth the price.
