 Cat Collar did NOT work for our cats June 21, 2008
We bought the receiver collar with great expectations but neither of our cats could tolerate it even at the lowest setting. They freaked out and darted off. I feared they would run out of the yard with the collar on, it was stressful and I felt horrible doing that to them. One of our cats attacked me as I was trying to get the collar off because he was so stressed (and the collars are not that easy to remove). They became freaked out about going outside at all and these are not skiddish cats. I concluded that these devices are not good for cats (although some people have claimed success) I think they work better with a dog's mentality, not a cats sensitivity. Ultimately, we returned the collars and built a cat enclosure. They seem purrrfectly content.
 Unintended Consequences May 26, 2008
The product worked as describe though it had unintended consequences. The product kept the cat out of the bedroom and consequently from urinating on the bed. The cat then urinated on the other beds in the house something it had never done before. Maybe the cat was pissed-off! Pun intended.

What a fantastic way to keep your cat or cats safe.
I installed the petsafe in ground fencing two years ago and successfully trained one large twelve year old stubborn, car chaising dog, a very cooperative medium sized six month old pup and a six month old cat. The cat collar works with the same buried wire as the dog, so you could have as many pets in your containment area as you like. All you have to do is follow the manufacturers instructions doing exactly as they say.

We are extremely pleased with your product. We live near a busy street and the cat fence has allowed them to roam outside but still within our yard. Thanks for a great product!!
