Length & neck fit, but too tight around the chest & shoulders December 31, 2007
This is a really cute sweater and well-made too. I ordered the recommended size for my dog based on neck size and back length, and those parts of the sweater did fit my dog well. But it was too tight around the chest and shoulders for her. And she's not a stocky dog either - she's a beagle/terrier mix, with a thin, leggy build. So I think the sweater is just not proportioned well. I'm afraid that if I had gotten the next size larger though, it would have been baggy on her and she would have gotten a foot caught in it or something. So she wore it for Christmas but now I think I'll give it to Goodwill. Thanks anyway though!
