Hide A Squirrel May 18, 2008 We bought this toy for my Siberian Husky last Christmas and I never could have imagined how much she would love it. Out of her large variety of toys (that continues to expand), she ALWAYS grabs this one. Most importantly, Hide A Squirrel is very durable. The tree trunk has lost a leaf or two over the last 6 months which is not a big deal, but as rough as she is with her toys, the squirrels have held up surprisingly well.
Stump you very much February 14, 2008 My dog thinks this is great. She's a Belgian/Border Collie and doesn't chew much but she does love to get the squeaker going. The little squirrels are fun and I bought extra although I didn't need to, they are all in perfect shape. The stump that they came in is fairing nicely too although the bottom contains some kind of plastic that is covered by the cloth and she also likes to chomp on this for some kind of doggie pleasure. It has gotten a little bent out of shape but you can still shove the squirrels inside and she goes to town removing them.
My favorite dog toy January 20, 2008 I love this item and so does my dog. I followed the instructions to squeak the squirrels and then insert them in the tree house. She could not wait to remove them and squeak them. This is the first toy she picks to play with. It teachs them coordination, since they have to use their paws to hold the house to remove the squirrels.
Wonderful interactive toy January 7, 2008 The dogs love this toy and carry the little squirrels around from room to room like they are little prizes. It is well made and isn't torn apart like so many dog toys after a week of dog teeth. It can accommodate severlal dogs as they all play with different parts of the toy. I doused a small Hide-A-Bee with catnip and gave it to my cat friends who said their cats loved it, too.
Wonderful! January 6, 2008 I bought two of these items for my co-workers dog and my dog-niece and both absolutely love it! They hate the squirrels to be in the stump and do everything they can to get them out...its adorable!
