 Not Cotton. May 21, 2008
This is not Cotton; the tag says: "Contents: Polyester Fibers". We try to buy only natural content items for our dog, so this won't do. Also, at 4.5" and 1.5 lbs, it's quite heavy, hard, and large - even for our 70 lb flat-coated retriever. It could even potentially injure your pet if thrown a bit fast and/or in the wrong direction. Otherwise, seems well constructed though.

The only rope toy that has lasted longer than a month with my gnawing crazy shiba-mix. Everything else he has unraveled within a day or less than a week. This thing is tightly wound & seems like they're individual rope rings because after unraveling one ring of rope it doesn't seem to be a catalyst for unraveling the rest of it. So its great. thats pretty much it. :) Now i just need to find a tug-toy that he can't destroy...
Waste of money! April 9, 2008
I got this for my little Boston/jack russell mix (BoJack), and she had this ripped up within 10 minutes. I spent about a dollar a minute of fun for her. I was upset and dissapointed. Don't get this toy if your dog is a heavy chewer! Just buy then some bones and be done with the buying of toys!
Great Dog Toy January 14, 2008
Wonderful! Durable toy. My big dog we nicked name destructo dog loves it, he had it for a few weeks and its still attached he plays with it all the time. Wonderful for any dogs especially those that love to destoy thier toys.

My dogs like it although it's a little too big and heavy for them (they're Corgis). But for a bigger dog I think it'd be a great toy to fetch and chew on.
