Product Description "For bone lovers! Keeps dogs busy and out of trouble. Dogs love removing the marrow (goodies) out of the patented Goodie Grippers. Great for most large and medium size dogs. Approx. 7"" long. Black. Hard rubber Kong Goodie Toys create a winning combination of food and play that will keep dogs busy for hours. Special ""goodie grippers"" hold treats, and dogs won't rest until they've gotten every morsel! Goodie Bones have classic bone shape with two goodie ports. Super strong extreme black formula is ideal for aggressive chewers."
Amazon.com Review This exceptionally durable bone-shaped chew is designed to stand up to even jaws of steel. Made from the same super-sturdy, puncture-resistant, non-toxic rubber as the black Extreme Kong, it's the perfect toy for the home-alone canine. Recommended by vets and trainers for dogs with problem behaviors or separation anxiety, the Extreme Goodie Bone helps satisfy dogs' natural urges to hunt, chase, and gnaw, keeping them happy and busy for hours while their owner's away. The innovative design features holes with patented Goodie Grippers on each end. Stuff the holes with biscuits, dry foods, or Kong brand Stuff 'n pastes or treats, and watch your dog go to work extracting the contents; the grippers make the "hunt" harder, and therefore more fun. Measuring seven inches long, the black Extreme goodie bone is appropriate for aggressive chewers and large dogs, including Labs and German Shepherds. Regularly inspect your goodie bone for cracks or missing chunks, and replace worn or damaged toys to avoid a choking hazard. Satisfaction is guaranteed; if either you or your dog aren't happy with your purchase, return within 30 days for a full refund--Mary Park

Dogs love it, very durable April 12, 2008 I just got my dog one of these, my parents have had one for their dog for awhile. Both dogs are very destructive with toys and these kong bones stand up to years of chewing.
Best King Toy so far February 28, 2008 Best one we have had yet. It's stil in tact after a couple of weeks.
My dog's favorite toy -- and it lasts longer than anything else! February 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My very agressive chewer, a 70+ pound black lab, loves this bone, whether it has treats in the holes on the ends or not. She also loves playing fetch with it. It took her three years to destroy her first Kong Extreme Bone, and she moped around for days after I had to chuck it so she wouldn't swallow the pieces that were coming off after three years. I was disappointed that I could no longer find them at the pet supply store. I was elated to learn that Amazon.com still has them. Now, Lady had her "old friend" back, and she's happy again.
Good Toy for Heavy Chewers January 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The point of failure for this Kong will most likely be the rubber fingers that hold the treats in the ends. These rubber fingers have started to crack very slightly after heavy use and will eventually cause me to discard the toy, but anyone with a dog that chews heavily will appreciate that the Kong lasted through many chewing and tug of war sessions.
Kong Extreme Dog bone not for chewers January 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The kong extreme are supposed to be indestructible! However, do not buy this product if you have a dog that is a chewer. We have two labs and they opened these up on Christmas and had the hard rubber shredded all over my living room in 10 minutes. They are supposed to be made to chew, but don't waste your money!
