 Unsafe for our dog January 5, 2008
Our puppy is not an aggressive chewer, but quickly bit off one end of this toy. The plastic was sharp and the pieces were easy enough to swallow. Luckily, we were nearby and got it away from her. We were out of the habit of supervising her with plastic toys because she never chewed anything but rawhide. Plastic didn't interest her. This toy was so intriguing that she couldn't resist trying to pull it apart. She has the Wiggly Giggly ball, which she doesn't like as much as she did this jack, but at least it is safer.

My 3 mo old dalmatian absolutely loves this jack! He attacks it over and over and seems to think he is really accomplishing something by doing so, killer instinct I guess. When I take it away and try to get him to play with something else, he may spend a few moments with whatever I give him but always goes back for the jack and if I have put it up he actually will stare at me and wait for me to put it back down for him to attack! Sound is annoying after a while if in a small room and he's been going at it for 20 or 30 minutes, but outside it is the greatest and keeps him occupied and out of trouble!

Our dog has the large ball and a plush toy that makes the same sound. We all laugh at the sounds these toys make and our dog has a ball playing with them. However, within 5 minutes of receiving this jack, he had one of the ends torn off. I think, if you are going to buy this toy, you had better supervise your pet closely!!!! We threw the toy out that day so it was a big waste of money. Our dog still loves and plays with the ball and plush toy and doesn't try to destroy either one of them.

My dog loves the sound this toy makes. She also had the wiggly-jiggly ball but the jack is easier for her to pick up and run with.
great toy..I recommend it to all my friends who have dogs.
