We've used Advantage before and know that it works, but it can be a bit price for those on more restrictive finances. The best part is the value of the product keeping your pet flea free. ADVANTAGE REMAINS THE BEST FLEA....DESTROYER!   December 5, 2007 Unfortunately, my Maine Coon Cat is allergic to flea bites and she has suffered SO much. I HAVE used Advantage on her before, but this time I needed to take her to the vet and they gave her a flea bath AND shaved the afflicted areas. I will continue to use Advantage Purple Box for Cats 10-15lbs EVERY MONTH without fail. It's been four months and she has not suffered at all! In my opinion, Advantage is THE flea killer.
