I purchased this product to neutralize that "musty" smell in the basement. I am on my 2nd jar and abosolutely LOVE this stuff. The Jar says to replace every 2-3 months but actually it lasts a lot longer. Buy with confidence

Fresh Wave Continuous Release Odor Neutralizing Gel - 16 Oz.
This product eliminates all odors such as fish, garlic, paint, damp basement odor and pet odors. The fragerance is a soft, mild pine scent that is non-offensive. It is the best odor neutralizer I have ever used.

I use Fresh Wave to control odor from my cats' litter box. It does the trick -- no odor. Although it has a pine sol smell, it's not overwhelming. I place the open jar on top of the box and shake it up to release the scent from the gel about once a day.
