 This stuff really works July 5, 2008
I've used this litter for years. A good shake brings the heavy clumps right up. Five cats in the house, and visitors always seem surprised to see them, because you don't smell them with this hard clumping litter.
 Dust-full April 14, 2008
I ordered this b/c of the claims of being dust-free and the reviews stating the same. I'm sad to say, I think it is very dusty, and the room the litter box is in is coated with a gray level of dust. I don't think I'll be buying this again...

I've tried many brands of litter. I originally started with "World's Best" because it was recommended by so many people, but I had terrible tracking and odor problems with it. Then I tried a variety of other brands, traditional clumping, crystal beads, etc...
The beads were interesting, but expensive and unpleasant to clean.
Some traditional clumping litters performed well and did a decent job at keeping the smells to a minimum, but all of them generated an awful amount of dust that made my poor kitties sneeze to no end, this despite claims of being "99.9% dust free."
I had never seen this brand before and when it showed up in my Amazon list of recommended items, I figured I might as well give it a try. Well, thank you Amazon. This litter is completely dust free and there is absolutely no smell coming from the litterbox. It also tracks much less than other litters I've used before, probably because the granules are heavier. The cats had no problem adjusting to it, and I couldn't be more pleased.
One caveat: the plastic bags are heavy (40 lbs) and inconvenient to lug around. You may be better off ordering the 17.6 lbs bag instead.
Finally, the same brand offers another type of litter: Precious Cat Ultra Premium Clumping Cat Litter which costs the same but I couldn't find any clear description of the differences. I'll try it next time and update this review.
[Edit] I ordered and tried the Ultra Premium (well, not personally, the cats did) and frankly I'm not quite sure I can tell the difference. The cats didn't seem to mind either!
good if you like clumping litter April 9, 2008
if you have an automated litter box or just prefer clumping litter, this is as good as any i've tried. granted the large bag is heavy and hard to maneuver, but i just scooped it into 2 smaller bags and had no problems. for the cost and free shipping, i'd say the 40 lb bag is worth it, and with 2 cats i havent noticed any additional smell vs my old brand. personally i like using the cellulose type that absorbs liquids rather than clumps them, just for the less frequent litter cleanouts and "pellet vs sand" scatter control.

we love this litter because it tracks less and NO DUST! I am ill and can't handle cleaning the litter box much less inhaling all that nasty litter dust. This products almost eliminates that dust. The only drawback is the size of the bag. It's way too big for me to lift, but I buy it anyway because it's the only litter that truly clumps well and doesn't dust up a bunch.
