Product Description Clumping litter made from all-natural, whole kernel corn. Highly absorbent proteins and fibers found naturally in corn bind cat urine and odor molecules in the litter. This extra strength formula contains a plant derived, natural scent that helps keep litter fresh for multicat use. Biodegradable and nearly dust free.

World's Best Cat Litter October 4, 2008 This is a non-clay base cat litter made from ground up corn cobs. There are other similar cat litters made from wheat chaff and ground up pine cones. These are the types of litter I have to use in my litter 'house'. (One of those litter boxes you roll on it's top, then back, and it empties into a tray that you just flush down the toilet. The litter box 'house' and this type litter is one of the best buys I ever made. (several years ago) It makes the cat box not bad to look at, smell free, and emptying is a snap. I highly recommend both products!
Excellent cat litter September 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was having problems with my cats ingesting the clay based litters and was looking for an alternative. I spent months and months trying different cat litters before settling on World's Best Cat Litter. Yes, there can be issues with odor control, but that is only a problem if your cat is the type that doesn't bury their business. This litter clumps better than clay based litter and is far less dusty. I've noticed a lot less little paw prints on the furniture, since I made the switch. The clumping power of this litter is so good, that if you are very tidy about scooping (which I am), you only need to do a complete litter change every 3-4 months! I scoop out used litter and replace it with fresh litter, twice daily, and the boxes stay clean for months (and I have 3 cats). I've tried both the original formula and the Extra Strength (multicat) formula and can tell you that there is no difference. If anything the Extra Strength formula tends to be a bit more dusty than the original formula.

"World's Best Cat Litter"? The name "Piss Corn" would more authentically describe its performance. Perhaps those who rate this litter highly had their cats dump in a litterbox of Cheerios previously...
Truly the best liter. August 28, 2008 I never worried much about kitty liter before as my adult cat used the pet door to go outside. That all changed when I recently adopted some abandoned kittens. I purchased a large liter box for multiple cats. The liter box manufacturer stressed the importance of using clumping liter. I tried the standard brands that you find in the stores and found that they did not clump around urine. I read about this product and ordered the extra strength version to make sure that I had the best chance for success with the new liter box. The results were great. The liter has a pleasant smell and it clumps better than anything else that I have seen. It contains no perfumed crystals but will keep oders down if the cats do a good job of covering their business. I have a roll-away box so I just rock it back and forth a bit to kill any unpleasant smells. The only thing I would warn you about is that the clumps look like some sort of dog treat and my dog thinks that is just what they are. Bottom line is that I have already reordered and will continue to do so.
DOES NOT SMELL!!! August 22, 2008 When you first open the bag, there is a smell of fresh horse food, but as soon as you put a portion of the litter in the box, there is no smell at all. I am grateful to this litter for not having some horrible perfume smell that when mixed with animal feces is sickening. It is also flushable where most are not though they say they are.
