Its an expensive can of air!!   September 30, 2008 I intended to restrict the cat from a closet,,,the motion sensor is slow to respond to the animal but would trigger whenever I went near the closet ,, the air can doesnt last very long and is pricey to replace,,,only good thing is once cat realizes what the Scat does she generally stayed away from it on sight (though it was empty) Fantastic   April 11, 2007 We have had an ugly cover on our leather couch for nearly two years because our furry friends liked to use it as a bathroom (their way of making editorial comments). Now we can actually use the couch and don't have to cover it! The combination of the alarm and air squirting keeps them completely off. We hope to eventually set it for alarm only to avoid buying refills for the compressed air. Just be sure you buy the model with the alarm - they also have one with just compressed air that would tie you into endless refills. Cheaply Made   February 12, 2007 The spray works in keeping the cats away when it works correctly. The dispenser is cheaply made. After spending $10 plus shipping and handling for the refill (plus $35 for the dispenser), I'm not really happy that the dispenser malfunctioned one night, and I woke up to it going off over and over. By the time I got to it to turn it off, the can was empty. Next time, I'll just throw $10 into my fireplace.
