30 pound dog Advantix applied according to directions. She became tachycardic, and experenced lethargy, vomiting, rapid breathing, frantic scratching and biting her legs. I though we were going to lose her. Finally in desperation gave her a vigorous bath and within just a few hours breathing and heartbeat returned to normal. Still lethargic, but somewhat better. This is a horrible drug that does not come with enough cautions.

product was received in timely fashion and in good condition.
advantix does a good job of protecting dogs from flees, ticks, AND mosquitoes...a must if you live in the south.

fleas and ticks in Ky June 1, 2008
The product works well on both fleas and ticks. Any ticks on the dogs fall off. The only problem that we can see is that the fleas and ticks are so bad again this year in our area that the product doesn't last all month. Seems like after about 2 1/2 weeks it isn't working as well. I will check with my vet to see if it can be applied more than once a month and not danger the dogs.....
