Highly efficient mini-filter for all aquariums up to three gallons. Perfect for desktop aquariums. Combines mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration for superior results. Instructions Inlet tube allows for up to two extensions (included) to be added plus inlet screen. Select the proper number of extensions to allow for water removal from near center area (by height) of aquarium. Make sure filter is hanging level in vertical position. Add water to fill filter chamber. Close cover, place flow control valve in vertical (full open) position. Plug in filter to electrical outlet (suggest GFCI outlet). Filter will make a little noise until all air has been pushed out which usually takes about 60 to 120 seconds. Once filter is running quietly adjust flow control to fit your needs and desires. Remove, rinse, and replace filter cartridges every two weeks. This is definitely one of the best filters I have ever purchased! It is silent and it cleans the tank thoroughly. I am definitely satisfied with this product.

This nano filter is amazing! It's great for small aquariums. It keeps the water free of debris. There's just enough room to keep a small piece of foam that you do not have to remove so that the beneficial bacteria can grow. The filter media is very simple and easy to put in. It's a layer of foam on top of a layer of carbon foam. If the carbon foam isn't doing it for you then you could also throw in a small bag of carbon yourself. I recommend this filter especially for Bettas. You can adjust the flow so that it doesn't have a strong suction and current so your Betta's fins don't get sucked up. I've had mine for over 5 years and it still works perfectly. I wouldn't trade it for the world and I recommend it to everyone who has a small aquarium or Betta fish especially. It looks great too and even though it doesn't show it in the picture, it does come with the tube that you attach so it can reach down to the bottom of your aquarium. It comes with a 12 month manufactures warranty but as I said you won't be needing it as long as you care for it properly.
