Product Description
Bags on Board, a compact, refillable dispenser that attaches to any type of leash. Inside is a roll of doggie clean-up bags - this way dog owners will never have to remember to bring bags with them again!

5 out of 5 stars The best!   August 29, 2008
Couldn't live without these! Much less expensive on amazon than in pet stores around me.

5 out of 5 stars convenience in the bag...   August 29, 2008
No need to remember to bring along plastic bags on every walk, or to try to guess how many times your pooch might need to go while you're out and about. These bags are extremely convenient and require no thought -- simply attach to your dog's collar. They are sturdy and don't break when you tear them off the roll. Honestly, a wonderful product.

5 out of 5 stars super pooper bags   July 17, 2008
Since getting my Lab 2 mos ago, I have used these pooper bags on all leashes we have. They are convenient and easy to use. Can't complain, just gotta pick that stuff up. Nice product.

5 out of 5 stars It happens, and you need to pick it up.   July 7, 2008
I've been using these for years now, and it's great that Amazon has them for less than the local pet store. They're a little expensive, but considering our county fines non-scoopers $100 for the first offense, I think they've paid for themselves.

I've tried using:
- newspaper sleeves (too thin, too long and narrow, plus I don't get a daily paper, let alone a twice-daily!),
- grocery bags (thin and flimsy, although when doubled up, they're fine for cat litter),
- biodegradeable poo bags (expensive, too flimsy to hold anything bigger than Chihuahua output, and rips apart when coming off the roll).

Bags on Board is the "real thing" and substitutes just don't cut it.

The package says they are biodegradeable "except in California" which I suspect is the only state in which there are actual standards on making this claim. I suppose the reality is that my pet's waste will sit in a landfill for a very long time before breaking down. I'm not proud of this, but as with disposable diapers, the convenience of easy local hygiene wins out.

1 out of 5 stars NOT BIODEGEGRADABLE   June 7, 2008

These bags are not biodegradable by any reasonable definition. New legislation in California is taking aim at manufacturers, such as this, that make misleading Green Claims.

Lab tests reflect the composition of these bags to be plain old, Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
