Product Description The Gumabone Frisbee Flying Disc is made especially for fetching. It's soft, yet tough, safe nylon is scented to make it easier to find if thrown in grass, growth or wooded areas. Includes instruction booklet. ASPCA seal of approval. Made in USA. This flying disc is not a chew toy. It is made of tough, light nylon designed for aerodynamic purposes. If your dog is a "chewer" he should be pacified with a Nylabone or Gumabone made especially for dogs or chew on. These bones are available in a size suitable for your dog. This flying disc is made for fetching and exercising. Do not throw it directly at your dog. Throw it so your dog must catch it in the air from behind. Please do not throw the flying disc in areas frequented by people or cars or other moving vehicles. Think of your dog's safety and the safety of the passersby. This flying disc will not float.

The best dog frisbees I've found January 18, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've blown a lot of money trying different frisbees for my chocolatebr /labs. In almost all cases, after a couple of retrieves they've puncturedbr /and/or cracked the frisbees, and after one session the frisbee is useless.br /I ordered two of these - quite skeptical - and they're in perfect shapebr /after a long session. I don't expect these to be indestructible, but thebr /fact that they made it without damage through a full session is the best Ibr /can ask for.br /br /Like many folks, I'd been pretty happy with those Old Navy Dog Frisbeesbr /that used to sell for 99 cents, but nobody can find them anymore. Thosebr /were about as indestructible as you could get, but they weren't very heavybr /and often didn't fly real well. But man, these are better, even if you havebr /to pay over $8 each.br /br /I was a little confused when I received them - I had ordered the "Gumabone" br /frisbees, but these said Nylabone, and I had just been through a round of extremebr /dissatisfaction with "Nylabone" frisbees. But, I noticed it did say on thebr /package "formerly Gumabone" and when I unpacked them I noticed they had a goodbr /rubbery flex to them, and they fly true and far. I was going to order 20 more,br /but there are only four left in stock.br /br /So, be kind of cautious on what you order. What I received, and am quite happy br /with is the Nylabone Flexible Flying Disc (perhaps "flexible" is the keybr /word). It also says "originally Gumabone FRISBEE flying disc".
Excellent Dog frisbee August 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are excellent frisbees for my dog, a German Shepherd. They are soft enough not to wear down her teeth, but strong enough to last and stay in one piece. With human-quality frisbees my dog bites right through them and they're destroyed in one or two days. These are just the right texture and strength for her to be able to catch them with a strong bite but they don't get destroyed.br /I have tried at least 20 different frisbee-style toys over the last 17 years with my dog Kali and her predecessor Tosca. The only other acceptable frisbee is also made by Nylabone, the hard plastic model. But my dog bites too hard into the heavier hard ones so they wear down her teeth. Some dogs even get tooth fractures from very hard frisbees. These "Gumabone" style frisbees seem to work really well and my dog loves them.br /The only reason I have to buy more is because Kali takes them with her when she chases rabbits into the woods and then leaves them in the woods never to be found again.
