Product Description Eye Envy is the ultimate in tear stain removal systems. Externally applied, this safe, non-irritating and effective cleanser and beautifier removes unsightly stains and inhibits dark staining production. Eye Envy is available in both the Original and Herbal versions (Herbal should be used as a "maintenance" after initial stains are removed, since it does not contain an anti-bacterial), and is safe for use on puppies. The Starter Kit includes all the essential products needed for the cleansing and beautification process. Packaged in a shimmering Gingham bag, the kit contents include: 2oz bottle of solution, oz jar of application powder and a jar of dry non-woven application pads.Note: When initially removing stains, it is strongly recommended to use BOTH EE solution and powder. Together, you will receive the maximum results. The Original solution requires refrigeration. Eye Envy does not contain any bleach, peroxide, steroids or other harmful agents and is topically applied. Under refrigerated and sealed conditions nominal shelf life is approximately 2-3 months.

Effective product March 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The product is very effective. My dog looked horrible for 2 years and I tried many products. She is a creme colored shih tzu, but her eyes used to resemble a racoon. This product works for me. My suggestions---Start with a fine-toothed comb to remove the residue. Use scissors to trim the stained fur. Apply the liquid with a cosmetic pad to clean the area. Dab with the powder. I started with this process every day for about 3 weeks. Then I reduced it to 2 times a week for about 3 months. Now I just use it once a week for prevention and I am thrilled with the results. Some tips---Their non-woven application pads are unnecessarily expensive. You can find these at a drugstore(do NOT use cotton balls as they do not work). Keep the fur short in this area by trimming every several weeks. The trimming removes the unsightly fur in the beginning but also keeps the area drier and prevents future staining. Now that I am on the once a week cycle, occassionally I will comb out some minor residue mid-week. I initially bought the starter kits but found that the 1/2oz powder lasts longer the 2oz liquid. In my experience, the 4oz liquid matched with the 1/2oz powder is the optimal buying combination.
don't waste your money February 22, 2008 I tried this on my American Eskimo for 3wks, then I gave up. It did absolutely nothing to help erase the staining. Save your money!
Eye Envy- False Claims July 13, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I purchased eye envy to use on my two Maltese, both with red tear stains. One dog has minor staining, while the other has severe. I already tried dietary changes to reduce the staining and give my dogs distilled water and food products without dyes. I read other reviews and saw pictures on their site of cases where eye envy worked well, so I thought I would give it a try. I followed the directions and applied the product to my pets' eyes 1-2 times per day for three months. I didn't notice any changes at all and was very disappointed in the price I paid when I observed no results. I think temporary result can be noticed when the stains are covered with a flaky white powder (only a cover up). I would not recommend wasting your time or money with this product. In addition, each bottle expires after 3 months so you have to buy a new supply even if you have some left.
Not as advertised...Don't waste your money. March 22, 2007 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Based on customer reviews and before/after pictures advertised on the website, I was expecting a miracle. I give it a 3 just to be fair because I've only used this product for two weeks and didn't use it on a daily basis as directed. I stopped using it as soon as I received Angels' eye. I use Eye Envy's solution when I have to and the only think I like about it is that it is safe and gentle on the eyes (another reason why I give it a 3). I have no idea what the powder does but I use it anyway. Maybe this product does work IF you use it on a daily basis but please don't expect a miracle!
I recommend Angels' Eyes although it is costly. I wrote a review about it here so you can search for that. Angels' Eyes had good online reviews but after being tricked the first time I didn't want to waste my money. I ended up getting it when I went to a high end grooming place and the owner highly recommended it. She was right! I trust in-person reviews rather than internet reviews.
