Product Description Easy 'one-time-install' valve. Quick connect and disconnect. 8 foot hose locks and stays in place -- means no 'blow offs'. Professional groomer sprayer with easy-to-hold fit. Complete water shut off to showerhead when hose is engaged. Water flows only when sprayer lever is pressed. Install valve one time in minutes on existing showerhead. Plug in hose only when needed, store out of site when not in use. Start flow with just a touch. Valve available in white, chrome or brass. Brass and Chrome are not solid brass and chrome but rather plastic that is painted these colors.

What?! Use a Pet Sprayer on Your Kids? May 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ok, who hates tub baths for kids? Me, that's who. It's a big time and water waster. Fill the tub with water and soap and let your kids sit in there for however long they want to play? Yuck. For starters letting girls sit in soapy water contributes to their contracting UTI's. Secondly, how do you get them thoroughly rinsed off and their little bottoms totally clean? Drain the soapy water and fill the tub again? More wasted water down the drain. It also looks like a ton of work to keep the bath in pristine enough condition so that you could allow your children to sit in that water in the first place. Augh! I...do...not...understand.
"What else can I do?" you may ask. Get the Rinse Ace Pet Shower Deluxe. I love my Rinse Ace. I did a lot of research to find something like it and it seems to be the only hose of its kind available to the general public. The other devices I saw were for professional groomers and they were really expensive and difficult to install. I know... this is supposed to be for washing pets, but it works really, really well on your kids too.
Pros The hose is a whopping eight feet long and the sprayer has a firm but gentle spray. It is great for washing hair because you can direct it better, and it has a little more force than just pouring cupfuls of water on their heads. This eliminates the risk of drowning your poor preschooler who moves the washcloth from in front of her face just as you are pouring it while you look away for just an eighth of a second to see why the dog is making that weird sound...oops. Then this preschooler will then scream bloody murder for 10 minutes while demanding that you hold her sopping wet until she calms down. Yeah, you know.
Slightly more force equals cleaner hair faster, and I'm all about that. Clean kid. Fast. I'm talking about boys too. Water only flows when the sprayer button is pressed, and it can be set to continuously spray as well. It easily connects to your showerhead. When it is connected there is a complete water shutoff to the showerhead. No water is wasted here. I also use it to clean the bath itself. If you wanted to you could even use it to clean the toilet or floor (I don't, too much water, don't have a floor drain).
Cons Made of plastic and wears out after continuous use. You have to plug and unplug it all the time if you use the sprayer and then take a regular shower everyday (our bathroom is very busy). This causes it to wear down eventually and you have to replace it.
But... When they say they warrant this product, they mean it. I have gotten a few replacement parts over the last few of years (they do wear out when you use them every day). I didn't feel like worrying about that, so I permanently installed the hose with a heavy duty metal diverter valve from Home Depot. Now I don't have to worry about it wearing out from being plugged and unplugged every day. If the sprayer head breaks you can just unscrew it and screw your free replacement back on.
Conclusion This sprayer is awesome; it has a few different uses and has saved me a lot of time and work. Well worth the money (I paid around $[...]).
You can always run a bath (no soap) once in a while so your kids can play, but you need to save time and water the rest of the time.
Pet Washer April 20, 2008 Good Value for the money, easy to install and use. I would pay a little more for some kind of a clip holder for the head.
Does the job... February 8, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My bully is too big for the kitchen sink now and since I'm not thrilled to drag a dirty dawg in my nice car, the home solution had to be found. This was super easy to install and super easy to detach and my doggie smells pretty again :)
Dandy Dog Bathing Aid February 5, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Deluxe Pet Shower is ideal for fully wetting and rinsing your dog. You can be certain that all the shampoo has been removed due to the excellent water pressure and stream flow. The only problem I had was with the shower adaptor which is plastic. The adaptor developed a hairline crack which caused the shower to leak. I contacted the company and discovered that the adaptor could be purchased in metal. I purchased the metal adaptor and haven't had any leakage problems since. The on/off trigger is wonderful and truly saves water. The 8 ft. long hose is also a plus. I have a cocker spaniel with long thick hair and he's never been so clean and I actually look forward to bathing him now.
Completely Happy November 2, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I'm completely happy with this product. One previous review complained that there was no lock-on switch, but there is a little wire gizmo that you flip over that holds the thumb press down and serves the same purpose. Everything else works as advertised and my back is much improved; plus, dogs are happy, no soap in eyes! Bow, wow!
