There are three colored lights on the handle: red for "don't cut", yellow for "caution", and green for "safe to cut". It's guaranteed to eliminate cutting worries, and works on dogs, cats, and birds of all claw density types, even black claws. Safe, easy and fast to use.. Does Not Work!! April 22, 2008 When I found this product I was so excited. I have cut my dogs quick before and have hated cutting her nails since and never cut them as short as they should be to avoid cutting the quick. The red and green light worked but the cutting blade was so dull all it did was break my dogs nail into jagged pieces I then had to file down.

In the words of my dog... "Owwwwwwww!"
The lights are inaccurate, just ask Zeke. Taking it back after just one nail!
Quickfinder Clipper - A real disappointment November 20, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I should have seriously considered all those individuals who rated the Quickfinder Clipper a 1 on a 4 scale. Received it today and was anxious to try on my dog. Not only was the light system inaccurate, but the clipper was so dull, compared to the one I had, I will probably have to use it as a paper weight or give it to the Good Will :-) as it does not deliver. Don't waste your money on this product as it is, in my opinion, marketing hype.
This product should be taken off the market. October 26, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I too had high hopes which were soon dashed once I tried to operate the unit. The directions are written in a 3 font, went to the web and watched the movie....even in their demonstration they can't get the light system to work right! The lights flash red/yellow green then change as you try to cut but you see this and release pressure, and so on. I wouldnt trust this thing to prune a dead rose bush, not to mention using it on my dog! If you bought this paperweight, take it back...I most certainly am.
Save Your Money! September 24, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This product was a total waste of money! As others have written, the red light/green light system doesn't work, with a red light being the usual constant no matter where the clipper is placed on the nail. The occasional green light was usually too close to the paw to be safe! So much for the advertised "sensor detects quick for safety." Save your money and spend it on professional grooming.
