5 out of 5 stars My Dog....   August 19, 2008
...will do anything for Joint Treats, including step into the bathtub, and hold still while being bathed knowing that if he's a good boy for his bath, he will get two of these gumdrop-sized treats after he gets out of the tub.

Since my dog is a 100 lb lab/malamute cross with severe hip dysplasia, I'm very picky about his diet, and keep his weight on the lean side. I like the idea of a small treat with something he actually needs. He gets a daily dose of glucosamine, but I feel a treat with a little more in it is probably beneficial.

I originally received Joint Treats as a premium with some other dog purchase and was positive he would turn up his nose;) since they smell nasty, sort of like fishy dark chocolate, but my dog is crazy for them, and seems to like them much better than the little doggie bones he's had for a treat most of his life.

Good product!

These (apparently) very tasty treats have the same ingredients as gold-standard CuraFlex II, but my Border Collie is much happier with them.

5 out of 5 stars Great buy for good product   November 4, 2007
I've gotten this treat for my almost 10 yr old lab before. After about 2 weeks of use, I definetely noticed his nightly groaning from achy joints had almost completely stopped. If he does miss a night or two, his achiness returns. I checked w/ our vet who said they were good for him take. They DO smell yucky but I'm not eating them! And my pup just hears the lid being opened and is wagging his tail in anticipation. The price is reasonable and they last awhile. Dosage is done by weight so it varies with each animal. I've also gotten coupons from the company for the next purchase. They also arrive very quickly. Thumbs up!

4 out of 5 stars he loves them   October 27, 2007
My 13 year old wire fox terrier had knee surgery several years ago. Later, the rymadryl had cause his liver enzymes to sky rocket so we took him off that and replaced with milk thistle TABLETS. I just roll one of those inside his joint chew and he loves it. Won't know for awhile if liver improves but he seems to feel better.
