Product is durable but a serious chewer can tear it up if left unsupervised. Chewing will leave small bits of hard plastic sticking up from the surface that can make it hard to throw forcefully without gloves. Bottom line: if your dog is a serious chewer, do not leave them alone with this toy.

If you have a hard core chewer no toy lasts long and the nylabone frisbee is no exception, but for normal mouthers and chewers this is a good long lasting toy. The only real problem with it is that it is slippery for dogs mouth and feet so they have trouble picking it up from the ground. The edges can also get sharp burrs that will cut dog lips. Good toy though
