Didn't work for my dog... July 25, 2008 I have a 40lb lab mix who would much rather sit in the front seat on my lap, than in the back. I purchased this product hoping it would keep him in the back seat of my car. While it worked the first one or two rides, by the third trip, my dog found he could work his way under this barrier and through to the front. Never worked again.
Woofy Nose Great! June 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It certainly worked in keeping my dogs noses out of the front bucket seats. Our huskies just want to be lap dogs in the smallest spots. This just keeps them out. Plus it was easy to install. Yeah!
Great inexpensive barrier for my boxer! April 26, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I brought this as one of the gifts for my boyfriends birthday. Our dog, Tofu is a large 75 lbs white boxer. Besides slobbering on us and being a huge distraction, he's always trying to sit in the middle of the front seat with us. We didn't want a huge metal barrier seperating the car into halves like a prisoners transfer vehicle, and plus those cost up to $70 or so bucks. For the price of the Outward Hound barrier it did it's job well, keeps him out (most of the time) and is low and small enought that it isn't SO visible. I have bought Outward Hound products before and not only are they inexpensive they are pretty good quality. Would recommend for smaller cars (my boyfriend has a 20 year old M.Benz) or small to medium sized dogs.
Works well February 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great product for the price. It installed easily and keeps my corgis in the back seat where they should be when I am driving.
Doesn't do the trick. January 8, 2008 I have two miniature dachshunds who manage to make their way under or over this cheap product. I can only imagine the same would hold true for dogs over 7.5 lbs.
