 Could be tiny bit better March 10, 2008
This is an excellent product, small and bight, but....the on/off button
is easily activated accidently and my dog scratched at his collar and shut it off....activated accidentally in my coat pocket and killed batteries. Wish company stayed with the twist on/off operation.
 Bright, but not reliable January 9, 2008
These are really bright lights, but not very durable or dependable. My dogs run off leash at night and play pretty rough. They are constanly turning off the lights, which have pretty sensitive switches apparently. They almost never stay "on" for an entire walk, so I am constantly having to turn them on again. I have resorted to unscrewing them to turn them off, since there have been many times that I turn them off when I get home, put them away, and find them blinking away a few hours later.
They are probably fine if you have a mellow dog that goes on leash walks around the neighborhood, but not if your dog likes to run.
Bottom line, good light, terrible switch mechanism.

I purchased one for my dog at our cottage, where we spend a great deal of time outdoors at night fishing & sitting around a campfire. This was the first time I didn't fret about where my dog was; I was always able to spot her light. The way it hangs below her neck, it never seemed to bother her a bit, but the blinking light was highly visible for us no matter where she was. I will probably order more of these!
