Great product August 10, 2008 This rake was recommended to me by the groomer that I take my German Shepherds to. We had been using the Furminator which is good, but this rake is better.
A good tool for those difficult areas. August 3, 2008 I use this rake on my Newfoundland. The hair behind her ears tens to mat from time to time. This cuts through them without much discomfort to the dog, and without having to cut the mat out completely.
Ideally, a dog would never get matted enough to need this, but most of us just don't have/take time to stay on top of the grooming 24/7. This tool is nice to have when it's time to play catch-up.
Really works April 7, 2008
I've tried other brushes and combs and shedding tools but none have worked as well as this! The shedded hair problem is at least 80 % better. My dog isn't itchy or shaking hair like he used to.
Fun! January 21, 2008 I first witnessed the use of this undercoat rake when my dog groomer finished clipping my dogs nails. After seeing what she accomplished in one minute with this rake, I knew I would be searching for one to own!
My Chi-Poo isn't supposed to shed, but since she apparently inherited the long-hair from her Chihuahua side rather than the low-shed Poodle end, this rake has her looking professionally groomed in practically no time! Plus, she seems to love how it feels when it's used on her!
Not only does it cut back on the amount of time spent grooming, it also has my dog's coat looking beautiful for a long period of time.
The price of this rake is well worth every penny!
Oster Undercoat Brush May 13, 2007 I have tried a lot of brushes for my dogs. I have a black lab and a golden retriever. This is simply the best brush I have ever used for removing loose hair from the dogs. I'll admit the price at first intimidated me, but after trying it.......WELL WORTH THE MONEY! I have lent it out to the neighbors. The have fallen in love with it too!
