Water doesn't come out.   October 6, 2008 This bottle is so poorly designed and unreliable, you can't be sure your pet will have access to water. We bought two and both had the same problem: water stopped coming out after a short period of time. We filled them according to instructions, but after 10-15 licks at the bottle, water simply stopped flowing. The poor thirsty rats were licking furiously and the ball was clattering away but not a drop was coming out. We then tried filling it to different levels, twisting the tube, shaking it, etc. Nothing helped. Anyway, a water bottle shouldn't require a trick to use - it should just work. Please don't waste your money on these dangerous and useless Super Pet bottles! Our rats are now sipping happily from a Lixit brand glass bottle that actually works.
