Product Description Dual Heat Settings - 750 and 1500 Watts / Adjustable Thermostat / AntiFreeze Setting / Fan-Only Setting / Cool Handle
Amazon.com Review No more worrying about overheating or starting a fire, a ceramic thermal cut-off mechanism shuts the heater down if it's accidentally tipped over or covered with curtains, blankets etc. A dual heat-flow setting makes it easy to regulate. Choose the "hi" setting for 1500 watts or the "lo" setting for 750 watts. And, an adjustable thermostat helps fine-tune temperatures and conserve energy. When winter is over, the fan operates without heat for summer cooling. A built-in handle and wide solid base ensures optimal stability and convenient portability. And, this quiet operator is perfect for any room in the house. An anti-freeze setting automatically turns on the heater when the temperature reaches 44 degrees Fahrenheit. --Brian Olson

What a great buy.. October 2, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I hesitated before buying this product because it doesn't look so aesthetically pleasing but that can be overlooked!
Pros: heats.... INSTANTLY! No waiting if your freezing in winter. Small, portable, able to use as a fan for summer or as a heater for winter. GREAT price. It actually doesn't look that bad in person. Fan is pretty quiet.
Cons: I don't understand why there are 6 levels on the knob for Fan. It seems to only have one speed and turns on and off around 3. The fan is not very powerful but I used it today on a very hot and humid day and it was sufficient. The red light on top doesn't ever turn off when it's plugged in.
Conclusion? Can't get a better deal for the price.... overall, very happy with my purchase!
Quiet, But Not Too Powerful September 28, 2008 The title says it all: It is so quiet that you can barely realize it's working. However, it will take a long time to make your room warm.
There are much more powerful heaters on the market. But I love the silence. And, the "not-too-hot" property just fits my needs.
Recommended if you're not living in a cold neighborhood.
delonghi heater September 17, 2008 I live in the mountains and this is a great inexpensive way to heat a bedroom or bathroom. It is fairly quiet and does have a long cord to reach a good distance from the outlet. It does not get extremely hot, but keeps my room about 70 degrees.
Excellent Performance for the Price September 16, 2008 What can you say for a $15 heater? Does it work? Yes. Does it keep my feet warm? Yes. What about general area? I can feel the heat past my desk particularly if I let it run all day. If I place it above the desk then it does a better job for the area. Reliable? so far so good How well do the multiple settings work? Great overall. I use the fan and the first heat setting. The fan is nice when the air is off in the building. The heater is perfect for a small area or my feet. However, I have a number of items plugged to one power strip and the second setting trips the power strip. Therefore, all of my comments are based on the lowest heat setting. If I had a seperate power strip/plug-in for this heater then the heat would be even better. Temperature setting? Works reliably but I tend to change the setting manually.
Overall? $15 bucks gets you what you need for a personal heater (versus a room heater).
Cute and functional September 14, 2008 This space heater works well for my cubicle. It keeps my feet warm and is just the right size for hiding under a desk. It is very quiet when running.
